Gulf Breeze, Florida is a small waterfront community that is known as one of the best places to live around Pensacola because of its character, education, location, and easy access to the water in a variety of ways. The City of Gulf Breeze is located on the end of the Fairpoint peninsula in Santa Rosa County, separated to the north by the “three mile bridge” across Pensacola Bay from the City of Pensacola, to the south by the Bob Sikes Bridge over Santa Rosa Sound to Pensacola Beach, and to the east by the naval live oaks reservation. As a result, residents enjoy a quiet residential community just a few minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and the City of Pensacola. On the eastern side of the naval live oaks reservation is where new growth of Gulf Breeze occurs along Highway 98. Gulf Breeze Elementary, Middle, and High School regularly achieve academic honors as well as excellence in sports and athletics.
